RUSSIAN President Vladimir Putin rang Sir Elton John yesterday and agreed to to meet with him for a debate about his stance on gay rights.
The music legend, 68, had extended an invitation to discuss LGBT equality in Russia with the controversial leader, which has now been accepted.
