The plateau State government has imposed a 24-hour curfew in the early hour's of 5th August 2024 in Jos bukuru metropolis, due to ongoing protests against the high cost of living, Despite initial peaceful protests, the demonstrations have been hijacked by "hoodlums" who have vandalized properties, leading to the curfew.Recently, a house of reps member representing pankshin,kanke and kanam PKK on channels television program "politics Today, Hon.Yusuf Gagdi, commend the people of plateau State on their peaceful protest and ask Nigerians to emulate same.The curfew is expected to remain in place until further notice and security agencies have been directed to ensure full compliance.
